All drivers must hold a valid full driver's licence. A current acceptable New Zealand, International or overseas licence must be sighted for all intending drivers.

24 hours from time of pick up. Payment is to be made at commencement of hire by either cash, cheque or credit card.

Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 12.5% is included in all daily hire prices.

Vehicle insurance is included in the daily rate, and is subject to an excess of NZ$1200.00 including local taxes for drivers aged 25 and over (windscreen insurance is not included). For drivers aged 21 to 24 the excess is $1,500 including taxes.  For the rental vans, insurance excess is $1,800 regardless of the drivers age.

A bond is required for all hires. You will be asked to sign a separate security bond in the form of a Credit Card imprint. This bond is held by us and is not banked. It is our guarantee that the vehicle will be returned on time and in the condition that it was hired.  The rates of bond is the insurance excess as above.  For hires greater than 3 weeks duration, paying an additional daily charge can reduce this.

Child seats are compulsory on New Zealand roads (under 5) and are provided free of charge.  Please order at time of reservation stating age of child so correct size may be booked.
All Child Seats are Subject to Availability.

All vehicles are hired with a full tank of fuel and this is to be re-filled prior to the return of the vehicle, failure to do so will incur further charges.
